  Special Pioneer Sister-in-Law and Husband just got their letter.

  well, my sister-in-law and her husband, special pioneers for only a couple of years, just got their letter.. her comment was along the lines of, "they're having to do this because they forgave all those kingdom hall loans a few years ago and the brothers aren't donating anymore.".

  when my wife told me, i laughed so hard i farted.

  there doing this right under my nose but i just found out.

  not sure what to do but would like your help on getting me wt information on my headship role and how they shouldn't be doing this with out my permission.

  also would like some help on showing my son the ramifications on what happens to someone when they get baptized and how they'll expect him to treat me.

  why beat youself up about it ? baptism into the jw cult is meaningless rubbish to the rest of mankind. if your son gets dipped---he will most likely be finished with it before hes 20--then his mum will shun him--and you will have him back.

  since the liberal government has been elected in canada, it seems that people are looking to the future with a little more optimism and hope.

  it is only human nature that with change, we would think that the change would be for the better.

  the courts have ruled, in canada, that it is unconstitutional to deny the homeless the right to sleep in parks.

  What I Hate About Halloween....

  ....is that it has totally wiped away the distinct celebration of november 5th and bonfire night.

  fireworks and bonfires are still ubiquitous this time of year but it's just merged in with halloween which, whilst always being celebrated, was not as promoted and so overwhelming as it is now.. bring back the guy!.

  i used to love the run up to bonfire night --as a kid. such fun with bangers----stuffing them up car exhausts---posting them into letter boxes. tying them to rockets and firing them at other gangs. dropping them fizzing into muddy puddles.

  happy days --lol
